Michael Praed, television's most memorable Robin Hood, returns to the greenwood to present a special Sunday Night is Music Night: the Swashbucklers!.

The 60-piece 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe, will cut and thrust their way through some of the greatest film scores ever written for the swordsmen of the silver screen.

Including Erich Wolfgang Korngold's The Sea Hawk and Robin Hood, Alfred Newman's Zorro, Hans Zimmer's Pirates of the Caribbean, John William's Indiana Jones and Star Wars and Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings.

Classical repertoire includes Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, Khachaturian's Spartacus and, as used in the Russell Crowe film Master and Commander, Boccherini's String Quintet in C Major.

Michael will also read extracts from high adventure novels, including Captain Blood, The Sea Hawk and The Three Musketeers.
