One of Britain's finest singers, Sarah Connolly, and acclaimed pianist Malcolm Martineau perform a richly romantic programme of songs and lieder contrasting the fin-de-siècle Vienna of Schoenberg, Zemlinsky and Strauss with the cool eroticism of Debussy and eccentricity of Poulenc. as well as works by Austrian émigré composers Eisler and Korngold live from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh.
