Today's programme includes music by Beethoven, Janacek, William Wallace and Shostakovich. And it features the First Symphony by Australian composer Ross Edwards, who was born in Sydney and whose works often require special lighting, movement, costume and visual accompaniment. It also includes Fringeflower by Scottish composer Anna Meredith, a former composer-in-residence with the ѿý Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
