LOVE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Kate McIlreavy is searching through hundreds of her late husband’s photos for a photographic exhibition in Glengormley Methodist Church on Saturday 19th December. He was a keen and award winning photographer who was passionate. And in honour of his memory the money raised from the exhibition will go to charity. Anne Marie went to meet Kate and see some of his treasured photos from his collection.
FERMANAGH FOLK TALES

There are spooky tales, mythical creatures with horses that talk and pigs that understand three languages and they are just some of the tales featured in Doreen McBride’s new book. All these stories are a unique collection which gets to the heart of Fermanagh’s historic county. Anne Marie talks live to Doreen from one of our studios.Â
THE FIRST MOURNE CHRISTMAS

Christmas with an Armagh accent and that's the county where poet, Peter Makem was born. It's here and County Down, that inspired him to write one of his most famous poems, The First Mourne Christmas. It has become a tradition on Your Place and Mine and to hear it read in the run up to the big day by the man himself, Peter Makem, then tune in.Â
