Ian Skelly continues a week celebrating the 蜜芽传媒 Performing Groups highlight performances of 2015. Today begins with the Ulster Orchestra under Rafael Payare, who are joined by soloists Olena Tokar and Alisa Weilerstein for ever-popular works by Mozart and Elgar. Then to the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra on tour in West Palm Beach for Britten's Variations on a Theme of Purcell, and Shostakovich's 2nd Piano Concerto performed by Charlie Albright.
