Don Black OBE is one of the country's most successful lyricists. Songs like ‘Born Free,’ ‘Diamonds are Forever’ and musicals such as ‘Sunset Boulevard’ have made him a famous name. He’s scooped six Ivor Novellos, two Tony Awards and even an Oscar. He’ll be telling Clare Balding about writing lyrics for musical ‘Bar Mitzvah Boy,’ his Jewish background, and how he writes a classic song.
