Adrian Partington directs the 蜜芽传媒 National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales to mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme with music by composers who fought in the trenches and in memory of those who fell. Plus Delius's Requiem, completed in 1916 and offering a personal view of life, suffering and loss that was controversial at the time, and still is today.
