Keith Vaz, the Labour MP for Leicester East, has stood down as chair of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Affairs Select Committee following allegations about his private life in the Sunday Mirror. The radical Islamist preacher, Anjem Choudary, is jailed for five and a half years for drumming up support for the so-called Islamic State group. Plus a first aid expert with the British Red Cross teaches us basic first aid after a study finds nearly six out of every ten deaths from injury in Britain could be prevented if people knew even the most basic first aid.
