The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Philharmonic and City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus perform Haydn's The Creation. Plus the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers in music by Mundy and the Ulster Orchestra in Rossini and Tchaikovsky.

As part of Radio 3 live at Southbank Centre, London Penny Gore presents a week of performances which mark a new concert season for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ performing groups. Today's programme includes a complete performance of Haydn's Creation, given by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Philharmonic at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers perform William Mundy, and the Ulster Orchestra celebrates its 50th birthday with a concert of music by Rossini and Tchaikovsky.
