Twenty lower-league and non-league clubs have battled through the early rounds and will be dreaming of being paired against one of the Premier League sides who enter the competition at this stage, as well as the 24 Championship teams.

The third round has produced many famous giant-killings over the years, including Hereford's 2-1 victory over Newcastle in 1972 and Wrexham's 2-1 win against Arsenal in 1992.
