Stuart Maconie presents solo and is joined by musician, journalist and film producer Bob Stanley, best known as a member of Saint Etienne.
Stuart Maconie presents the show solo, with musician, journalist and film producer Bob Stanley. Best known as a member of the indie pop/dance group Saint Etienne, Bob's had a long parallel career as a music journalist, writing for, amongst others, NME, Melody Maker, Mojo, The Guardian and The Times, as well as writing two books on music and football. He also has a career as a DJ and as a producer of record labels, and has collaborated on a series of films about London. He's here to talk about his latest compilation, based on his love of the 'autumnal sound' of Britain at the turn of the seventies....
Plus YOU, the actual listener, will have the chance to be on the wireless by taking part in the never-ending Chain of conjoined records - or huddle round the office DAB speaker with your choice of afternoon beverage to gain victory in today's Teatime Themetime.
