Apple Blossoms in Armagh

Armagh’s orchards are in full bloom this season – but not with Golden Delicious or Granny Smiths’. At this time of year, pink apple blossoms are the pick of the pack. Anne Marie has been down to Ballintaggart House just outside Portadown to meet fourth generation apple growers Philip and Helen Troughton.
Cushendun Big Arts Weekend

175 years ago, Cushendun church first opened it's doors to the parish. However over the years the congregation dwindled, and it was deconsecrated in 2003. But all hasn't yet been lost, as Cushendun Buildings Preservation Trust are planning to develop the old church as an arts and community centre - kicking off with a reminiscence afternoon on Sunday as part of the village's Big Arts Weekend.
