A friend of Portstewart woman Marian Millican, who was shot dead by her former partner, speaks of her relief after he finally admitted the murder.
A woman who witnessed the murder of Marion Millican has said she is relieved that her killer has finally admitted the shooting. Fred McClenaghan, who is 55 and from Broad Street in Magherafelt, faced two previous trials over the murder but had only previously admitted to manslaughter. Pamela Henry was working with Marion Millican in a laundrette in Portstewart on the day of the shooting. She says having to give evidence at several trials took a huge toll.
