Ian Skelly presents highlights from the Baltic Sea Festival, which took place in August this year in Stockholm. The programme includes the premiere of Martin Smolka's new choral work The Name Emmanuel, the cellist Jonathan Roozeman performing Esa-Pekka Salonen's cello concerto 'Mania' and Salonen himself conducting Sibelius's portrayal of the Kalevala, his Lemmink盲inen Suite.
