Two people are in a stable condition in hospital after a fire broke out at a high rise block of flats in Dunmurry. Firefighters were called to Coolmoyne House at around half past five yesterday evening, as flames and smoke spread to multiple floors. Residents had to be led to safety.

A banking union has described the Ulster Bank's decision to close 11 branches, leaving several towns without any bank as deeply disappointing. The bank said it has made the decision because more of its customers are using digital services.
