In More Detail.....

Over the past 70 years farm buildings, chapels, a miners institute, a toll gate, even a row of terraces, are among the houses and workplaces of ordinary Welsh people that have been translocated from across Wales to the outskirts of Cardiff.  Together they form the UK's first national open air museum.  Rachael Garside visits the St Fagans National Museum of History which was established in 1948. Since then it has grown to be a popular and unique heritage attraction, that's established a special place in the hearts of many thousands of people of Wales and beyond
