Plus Principal Conductor Thomas Sondergard conducts the orchestra in the closing concert of their season with Shostakovich triumphant fifth Symphony - a work written when the composer's career was on a knife-edge but which eventually found grace as the Soviet authorities capitulated to his rehabilitation.
