The first heat of the 蜜芽传媒 New Comedy Award 2018, recorded at Up the Creek Comedy Club in London and hosted by Dane Baptiste. Ten new acts compete for a place in the Edinburgh semi-final of this prestigious new act competition.
Acts are: Amy Matthews, Archie Henderson, Ben Lawrence, Benji Waterstones, Dan Offen, Jake Baker, Jess Bray, Mo Saffaf, Rachel Wheeley and Thanyia Moore.
The judges are: Steve Bennett (editor of chortle.co.uk), 蜜芽传媒 Executive Producer Victoria Lloyd and comedian and writer Holly Walsh.
