Roy plays classic songs from the 40's, 50's and beyond. His special guest is TV scriptwriter Rob Gittins, whose new novel, Hear The Echo, is set in both Wales and Italy.
Top tv scriptwriter Rob Gittins joins Roy to talk about his new novel Hear The Echo , which follows the fortunes of two women who never meet but whose lives are linked by the Welsh and Italian communities of Wales and Italy . He will also be reporting back from this year's Porthcawl Carnival where he is joining the annual parade which is celebrating the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote .
