Astrid Jaekel has wallpapered the outside of around a dozen shops and other buildings in the centre of Wigtown.聽 Each design tells a story about a building in Scotland鈥檚 National Book Town.

Julie Houston, a local artist and bookshop owner from Wigtown, has decorated the steps within a school with the spines of book covers.
