Katie Derham presents, with live music from pianist Federico Colli, who visits the studio before making his Wigmore Hall debut, and early music ensemble Gabrieli. They are joined by soprano Carolyn Sampson, one of a host of superb singers with whom they perform Purcell's The Fairie Queen at St John's Smith Square in London tomorrow night. Plus conductor Andrew Manze talks to us down the line from Hannover in Germany, as he prepares to conduct a performance of Britten's War Requiem at Liverpool Cathedral in a special collaboration between the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the NDR Radiophilharmonie.
