Emma Banks, talent agent to the stars, chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Katy Perry and Dexys Midnight Runners. Emma currently works with the likes of Katy Perry, Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine, Kylie Minogue, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lorde, among others. Earlier this year she was awarded one of music's top prizes, the Music Industry Trusts Award for her 'huge contribution to the industry in a career spanning over 25 years'. The judges all agreed she'd been 'a trailblazer for women in the industry from the outset'. While talent agents are often unknown by the general public, they play a key part in the business. Agents find work for musicians, and also represent and advise them. Emma, the Co-Head of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) London, recently signed Green Day, Muse, HAIM and Paramore.
