Resident DJ ANNA, and Girls of the Internet's 'Dad House' Mix

With Brazilian resident DJ ANNA plus Girls of the Internet shares his 'Dad House' mix.

Nemone is joined by Ramp Recordings founder, Tom Kerridge AKA Girls of the Internet who shares his "Dad House鈥� Mix. But don't worry, this isn't cheesy bangers. Starting out with 蜜芽传媒 Introducing, he brings his knowledge of beats and samples to the 6 Music airwaves ahead of the gig at London's XOYO next week, along with the forthcoming co-lab album with Nightmares On Wax, 'Syrup'. On the theme of the mix, Tom says: 鈥淚t鈥檚 something I believe Jockey Slut mockingly made up in the late 90鈥檚 about the movement of labels like Euphonic, Paper, Classic, Pagan, Phonography, etc. Lots of ageing lads making deep house music in the UK - which happened in the very late 90鈥檚, and we seem to be having a resurgence of it again now. Just a bit of tongue in cheek observation鈥�

But if all of that wasn't exciting enough, we're also joined by Brazilian born, Spanish based DJ ANNA (all caps). She's been moving skyward since producing one of the biggest Techno tracks last year, 鈥楬idden Beauties鈥�. She's also remixed Jon Hopkins鈥� 鈥楽ingularity鈥�, started producing for new label Afterlife, and has now collaborated with Miss Kittin on a track due end of August. Very excited to have her on the show, as she'll be picking some of her favourite tunes that are working the dance floor at the minute.
