ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NI Director has explained the background to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Pride network’s participation in Belfast Pride 2019.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NI Director has provided staff with a fuller explanation of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Pride network’s involvement in Belfast Pride 2019.
Mr Johnston clarified that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ won’t be taking part in a Corporate capacity, in line with considerations linked to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Editorial Guidelines.
He accepted that there had been some earlier confusion about the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s involvement and acknowledged the important role played by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Pride network in helping to ensure that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is an inclusive and diverse organisation.
Also on the programme, DUP calls on new Secretary of State to reinstate the portrait of the Queen at Stormont House.
