Bohemian Rhapsody, The Crown and a new production of Equus have all used Movement Directors to capture the physicality and movements of their characters. But how do they do it and why is it a role in demand? Polly Bennett, who has worked with Rami Malek and Oliva Coleman, and Shelley Maxwell, who is helping the actors in Equus capture the movement of horses, discuss the role of the Movement Directors.
