Mary Anne has a live session from composer, producer and musician, Anna Meredith. Anna's second album FIBS is released on October 25th via Moshi Moshi. FIBS follows on from her Scottish Album of the Year award-winning debut - Varmints. Across her career, Anna has excelled at keeping us on our toes. Before the release of Varmints, she worked for international orchestras, operas and cultural institutions, writing symphonies, songs and string quartets, and exploring boom-whackers, beatboxing and body percussion. Anna was the first female composer to be commissioned for both the first and last night of the Proms, and has been Composer in Residence with the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra and earlier this year, she released her first soundtrack, for the Bo Burnham-directed film Eighth Grade. It came as no surprise then, that she was awarded an MBE for her services to music in the 2019 Queen鈥檚 Birthday Honours List.
