We reflect Black History Month with the All Queens Mix and a 3 Minute Epiphany from the rapper, producer and writer Testament all about his award winning play Black Men Walking, which returned to UK theatres this autumn. There鈥檚 still a chance to catch it at the Midland Arts Centre in Birmingham this week
Inspired by a real life men's walking group, Black Men Walking takes a stroll through the Peak District, detouring through 2000 years of black history and arriving at a supernatural meeting with the spirits of their ancestors.

Testament is a Hip-Hop MC, writer, theatre maker and world record breaking human beatboxer. Born in North London and growing up Manchester, he moved to study in West Yorkshire where he now currently resides.

Black Men Walking was nominated for BEST NEW PLAY at the UK Theatre Awards and for BEST PLAY at the Writer鈥檚 Guild Awards. it toured nationally in 2018 including at The Royal Court in London
