Johnnie Walker returns with the Rock Show! Bringing you new releases from the world of rock, plus classic cuts and buried treasures from across the decades. 'This Week In Rock' is back - Johnnie looks back on the debut solo release of a 70s rock icon. The 'Rock God' makes its comeback with guitarist Earl Slick choosing his own rock hero. Earl made his name in the 1970s working with the likes of David Bowie and John Lennon and remained Bowie's guitarist on and off for several decades. Most recently, he toured with former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock and made a documentary called 'Rock n' Roll Guns For Hire: The History of the Sideman'.
Plus Johnnie's also got fresh releases from Robert Plant, The Rolling Stones and new Canadian duo, Crown Lands. And he'll play the never-before-heard demo of a Thin Lizzy classic.
