Your invigorating classical playlist

Thirty minutes of uninterrupted music, including a Caruso classic plus operatic scenes from Leoncavallo and Verdi.

In Tune's specially curated playlist starts with Enrico Caruso singing a classic Verdi aria, and continues with the Prelude to Leoncavallo's opera 'I Medici', followed by music from the time of the Medici by Giulio Caccini. Roberto Alagna sings one of Caruso's hit songs (by British-French composer Helen Rhodes aka Guy d'Hardelot), and we have a touch of faux-Italy in the Grand Tarantelle by Louis Moreau Gottshalk. The real thing is provided by folk band Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, contrasted with Godowski's arrangement of a Chopin tarantelle. We close with a scene from Verdi's Il Corsaro.
