Beethoveniana composed by Iain Farrington, inspired by Beethoven's nine symphonies, created with over 300 musicians from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ orchestras and singers in lockdown and two dancers in a bubble.

Joining Beethoven Unleashed, a year-long, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½-wide marathon marking the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Grand Virtual Orchestra made up of over 300 ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ musicians perform Beethoveniana by composer Iain Farrington, a brand new reworking of Beethoven’s nine symphonies commissioned by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms to celebrate the opening of the 2020 Proms season.

Farrington describes his work as 'taking Beethoven's music and putting it in a musical washing machine to see which colours run'. Director Toby Amies brings the music to life in this film, premiering exclusively on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Four, Choreographed by Cameron McMillan, starring dancers Emma Farnell-Watson and Joshua Smith together in their own lockdown bubble.
