Steve Lamacq combines exclusive new interviews with archive material from across the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ to tell the story of the rise of Idles.

They've clocked up an average of almost 100 shows a year, earned a Mercury prize nomination, an Ivor Novello award and 6 Music Album of the Year, they’ve played triumphant sets across the globe including Glastonbury Festival, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing sages across the country, headlining the Bataclan in Paris and London's Alexandra Palace, they even have their own on-line cult - the AF Gang.

Now here for the first time, in their own words, featuring previously unheard interviews, archive and session tracks is the story of how a ragtag group from the West Country came to make some of the greatest punk rock albums of this generation.
