Tom Inglis, a sociologist and a lifelong dog lover, chats to John about his life with Pepe his Wheaten terrier and the ancient connection between humans and dogs as told in his book “To Love A Dog”. Des McCabe tells the tale of his late Aunty Molly who ran the family bar in Warrenpoint and how their special collection of memorabilia is going under the hammer. Bobby Rao was an international Indian test cricketer in the 1970’s and tells John his story of how a brief spell playing in Ireland led him to settle down and help the community in Strabane. John catches up with Nahla Summers after her visit here on her elliptigo bike to spread the word of the “Culture of Kindness” . He talks to Grainne McCoy about her successes since her time on The Apprentice and how being a teenage single mother didn’t stop her from becoming a successful business woman.
