Stuart revisits the innovative duo’s dark and pulsating cold-synth album, Trance. Made in 1982 by auteur producer Chris Carter and agent-provocateur Cosey Fanni Tutti, it was their second record after disbanding from pioneering industrial music collective Throbbing Gristle. Regularly cited by artists as being highly influential in contemporary electronic music, Trance is an abrasive and atmospheric exploration of minimal electro, polyrhythmic sequences to rhythm heavy industrial dance tracks.

Plus, punchy post-punk art pop from Manchester’s underground, ethereal ambient from L.A. and distorted psychedelic guitar from 1990’s Azerbaijan.
