Legendary rock star Alice Cooper shares his 'First, Last and Everything' with Stuart and chats about his latest album ‘Detroit Stories’
Stuart Maconie presents solo, with a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.
Today, legendary American rock star Alice Cooper shares his 'First, Last and Everything' - that’s the first record he owned, the most recent one he’s enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to him. He also chats to Stuart about his new studio album.
Alice Cooper’s incredible career has spanned over 50 years. Known as the 'Godfather of Shock Rock', he draws influence from horror films and garage rock to create his unique persona. His hits include ‘School’s Out’ and ‘I’m Eighteen’. His latest album Detroit Stories is a tribute to his hometown. It’s a celebration of the sound and spirit of the Golden Era of Detroit rock of the 60's and 70's. He recorded it with some of the stars of the era including Wayne Kramer of MC5.
Also on the show... a whole host of quality radio items including 'Breakfast Blend' - three tracks that make a great sonic blend - plus another instalment of Sunday Glove Songs.
