Five more amateur cooks try to prove to judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace that they have the potential to be MasterChef champion 2021.

The Signature Dish challenge sees two cooks safely into the next round. The other three then take on a new test – the Favourite Ingredient Challenge. Gifted with their chosen favourite ingredient, they must create one exceptional dish that showcases it. The stakes are high as one cook will be sent home, their MasterChef dream over.

The four remaining cooks then compete for two quarter-final places, each cooking two courses that will excite not just John and Gregg but also MasterChef champions Saliha Mahmood Ahmed (2017) and Kenny Tutt (2018).
