But with vaccines now being rolled out around the world, there is optimism that international travel may soon take-off again. Yet even before the pandemic, critics were already saying global travel was no longer environmentally sustainable. Now, on top of that, the aviation industry is close to collapse. Covid has only intensified our yearning to get away, but should we really just jump back on to planes if we want to save the planet?
