The perfect classical half hour for Good Friday

In Tune's Classical Music Mixtape: an imaginative, eclectic mix featuring classical favourites, lesser-known gems and a few surprises, in response to Good Friday.

An uninterrupted sequence of music responding the Passion story which has inspired so many classical composers throughout the centuries. Composers including Vivaldi, Poulenc, Golijov, Biber and MacMillan provide a musical journey including the arrest of Jesus, his trial and crucifixion, and eventually his death on the cross, as watched by his mother Mary. The sequence ends with the menacingly powerful opening chorus of J.S. Bach's St John Passion.
