A world premiere tonight as Gary West brings you an exclusive taster of a brand new collaboration scheduled for this year’s Piping Live festival. Members of two of the trad scene’s hottest tickets in town, Tryst and the Kinnaris Quintet, join forces in our studio to bring you a session filled with new music on highland pipes, fiddles and guitar and a stellar line-up including Ross Ainslie, Lorne MacDougall, Jenn Butterworth, Laura Wilkie and Aileen Reid. Gary will also be joined by the festival director, Finlay MacDonald, who’ll be talking us through some more of this year’s Piping Live highlights coming up in August.
