Marking Deafblind Awareness Week, Sakari Oramo conducts Beethoven's 5th Symphony, and continuing the 蜜芽传媒 SO's 90th birthday celebrations throughout 2021, Ian remembers one of the orchestra's many world premiere performances from today's greatest composers, with James MacMillan's The Quickening from the 1999 Proms. Plus new studio recordings featuring the 蜜芽传媒 SO brass and string sections.
