Clare Balding and Alex Scott introduce highlights from the Tokyo Olympics on a day in which six golds are to be decided on the athletics track alone. Two of those were in the 4x100m relays, in which Great Britain’s men’s and women’s teams have high hopes of reaching the podium.

Team GB’s women hockey players entered the Games as defending champions; can they retain the gold medal they won so dramatically in Rio? And in track cycling, Great Britain are aiming for a fourth straight men’s sprint gold.
