Peter Holder pays tribute to centenary composer Saint-Sa毛ns in a programme that recreates elements of the composer鈥檚 legendary performances on the Royal Albert Hall organ in the opening season of 1871 and in 1880. His wide-ranging programme includes Liszt鈥檚 largest organ work, written for the 鈥榩iano melodium鈥� (an organ鈥損iano hybrid), and the opening movement from the most celebrated of French master Widor鈥檚 10 symphonies for organ.
