A man rails against the custody settlement which limits time with his son.

Brought up short by a shocking crisis on the way to the football, he is forced to examine his past behaviour.

Rachael’s fiction has been published by the Bridport Prize and The Common Breath, and broadcast on Audible. She was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Short Story Award 2021, Highly Commended in the Bridport Prize 2020 and won Elle Magazine’s New Talent Award.

She is currently working on a short story collection and her debut novel from her home in Scotland.
