Grieg’s A minor begins this week's focus on Romantic piano concertos - Javier Perianes playing all the right notes in the right order. Also, a Beethoven overture from the ѿý Scottish Symphony Orchestra, a chamber arrangement of music by Lili Boulanger, a new recording of EJ Moeran from the ѿý Philharmonic and a vibrant Mendelssohn symphony from the ѿý National Orchestra of Wales. Plus, there’s Baroque vocal music from Capella Marianna in Prague and a highlight from last year’s London International Festival of Early Music.
