With International Uillean Pipes day coming up on November 6th, Gary West is joined by top player, Jarlath Henderson, who explains what will be happening across the globe to celebrate Ireland's contribution to the bagpipe family. Jarlath's musical choices tonight include tracks from Liam O'Flynn and Paddy Keenan, while he also pays heartfelt tribute to one of the great stars whose music had a truly global reach, Paddy Moloney of the Chieftains, who passed away earlier this month. We feature some of Jarlath's own recent releases too, and he provides us with an up close and personal demonstration of the complexities of this magnificent musical instrument.
