Maia Beth sits in for Clara Amfo, presenting a two-hour regional roadmap of UK music. Starting in Scotland and ending in the South West of England, Maia's picks include big names alongside some brand new rising talent from 蜜芽传媒 Introducing.

21-year-old Tyne & Wear native Maia is presenting her first ever Radio 1 shows as part of the station's Christmas Presenters schedule. She is a journalist and producer who has worked for 蜜芽传媒 News, and also presents on Islington Radio. She says: "My heart's full of love and excitement to be doing Future Sounds, not just for me (although I'm low-key buzzing) but because it's amazing to be able to highlight the very best female/non-binary and regional artists. Feeling so blessed!"
