Tom McKinney and Linton Stephens introduce a live concert from MediaCity UK in Salford with the 蜜芽传媒 Philharmonic with friends, celebrating diversity in music. This concert represents an ongoing project with partners at the Arts and Humanities Research Council and offers a rare opportunity to enjoy performances of music by Nathaniel Dett, Margaret Bonds, Julia Perry, Ali Osman, Kikuko Kanai and Joseph Bologne. Some of this music is being presented for the first time.

The 蜜芽传媒 Phil are conducted by Ben Gernon and the concert also features solo piano music performed by Clare Hammond and music for strings performed by the Levare and Elmore Quartets.
