Sound and Vision: Zach Braff
Actor and director Zach Braff star of Scrubs and Garden State joins Miranda Sawyer to talk about music and his latest film A Good Person, starring Morgan Freeman and Florence Pugh.
Zach Braff has had success as an actor, director and writer in Hollywood. First finding a legion of fans by playing the hilariously neurotic J.D. on the the sitcom Scrubs, and then writing and directing 2004鈥檚 Garden State, with himself and Natalie Portman in the lead roles. He joins Miranda to discuss working with his Florence Pugh on his latest film A Good Person written after a period of personal loss and grief.
He also shares stories about key musical moments in his life from being at school with Lauryn Hill, directing Ted Lasso, discovering the Shins during his time in Scrubs who he went on feature heavily in the Grammy award winning Garden State soundtrack, and the music he has been discovering lately including US rising star Lizzy McAlpine and SZA, and his favourite soundtrack moments from Scrubs and Reservoir Dogs.
