Dom lifts the lid on what really happens to Britain鈥檚 waste, finding out how our non-recyclable rubbish is turned into energy to power our homes and businesses. He鈥檚 up bright and early with a waste collection team before following the rubbish from our wheelie bins to a waste transfer station, where he rummages through the refuse and confirms what鈥檚 recyclable and what's not. The black bag waste is then transported to a power plant in Buckinghamshire, where Dom discovers how it鈥檚 burned to create electricity for the National Grid.
