Poet Anne McMaster tells Helen Mark about rediscovering her Ulster-Scots roots on her return to Garvagh.
Helen Mark’s guest is poet Anne McMaster who’s returned home to her family farm in Garvagh. Inspired by being back on home soil, there’s much to inform her Ulster-Scots writing.
In the peaceful surroundings of Garvagh’s community garden, poet Anne McMaster finds the space she needs to write her Ulster-Scots poetry. Helen Mark joins her there for a conversation about Anne’s work and what brought her back home from the United States.
