Saxophonist Marius Neset and pianist Sir Andras Schiff perform live in the studio, and Katie speaks to David Hendy about the ѿý's history of commissioning new pieces of music.

Katie Derham is joined in the studio by saxophonist Marius Neset who performs live ahead of his late-night ѿý Prom on 3rd September. There's also live music from pianist Sir Andras Schiff who will perform Beethoven's Piano Sonatas at the Proms on 5th September. Plus Katie speaks to historian David Hendy about the ѿý's rich history of commissioning exciting new pieces of music.
